Director of Digital Operations
Jason is the chief wrangler of all things. He’s a renaissance artist and organizer who works with clients, account execs, and development teams to streamline projects and optimize timelines to exceed our clients’ expectations. He’s a media strategist, a designer, a front-end coder, a manager, and a spreadsheet fan.
What are your hobbies?
I break up my spare time working with plants around my house and in my herb window: cacti, succulents, bonsai experimentation, and in general just green thumb fun. I’m also somewhat of a community organizer, volunteering my time to TriPride and to organizing events in my Kingsport neighborhood. I’m also a big history nerd, with particular focus on pre-Roman human experiences.
What are your favorite podcasts?
Recently, I have been on a huge D&D liveplay podcast kick. I’ve been bouncing between three of them: Dumb Dumbs and Dragons (Canadian comedians play D&D for the first time), Queens of Adventure (first-time players who are Drag Queens go on fabulous quests), and most recently, You Meet In A Tavern (standard D&D liveplay). Oddly enough, I’ve never played a D&D game, but hope to change that soon. Outside of those, I’m a huge fan of RadioLab, Mortified, Standing With Stones, and Revisionist History with Malcolm Gladwell.
Who would you want to play you in the movie of your life?
Why not shoot for the stars? Meryl Streep in a role of a lifetime.
What are you reading?
I read a lot of articles, but not necessarily novels, recently. Those articles are from everything from National Geographic to ListVerse Top 10’s.
What are you listening to?
This one spans the spectrum. I’m a huge fan of RadioParadise.com, which supplies me with a stream of familiar and new (to me) songs. As I write this, I’m listening (for the first time) to Mami Gato by Medeski, Martin And Wood, which seems to be a nice jazz fusion piece.
